PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Coming back from a neck injury that ended his 2025 season six games early, Steelers starting left tackle Broderick Jones has suffered a setback per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jones was on the field last week for conditioning on the South Side and sources within the team confirmed they believed he would be able to play this year. Now Schefter reports Jones will be examined later this week to determine whether he will be ready for training camp or even the start of the season.
The Steelers first-round pick in 2023 (14th overall), Jones has started 38 games and played in 45 over three seasons. The former Georgia tackle is heading into the final year of his contract, although the Steelers could exercise a fifth-year option.
Besides Jones, currently the team has Dylan Cook, Troy Fautanu and Jack Driscoll listed as other tackles.
