Retired Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is catching some strays from the Pawn Stars guy.
With the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, NBC Sports Bay Area talked to Rick Harrison from the famous History Channel show about the ugliest ring in Super Bowl history.
"The Steelers won a Super bowl ring and they had Roethlisberger helped design the ring, it's probably the ugliest one," Harrison said laughing. "If you play football stick to that, find out what you're not good at in this world and don't do that.
The ring that Harrison must be referring to is the Super Bowl XL ring that Big Ben reportedly helped design with Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis.
What is a little confusing is that in the YouTube short that clip appears on, the ring that is shown is the Super Bowl XLIII ring that was designed by Heinz Ward.
If you look at the Super Bowl rings of the past 57 years, Super Bowl XL if far from the ugliest.
I'd say Harris has more of an argument with the Super Bowl XLIII ring, but Roethlisberger didn't have anything to do with that design.
