The Steelers came back to win their second game of the preseason against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, so that means Pro Football Focus will find a way to be a wet blanket.
Pittsburgh had 152 rushing yards compared to Philly’s 52, with two rushing touchdowns from Anthony McFarland and Jaylen Samuels.
But PFF says that “70 percent of the Steelers rushing yards this preseason have come after contact.”
That would put Pittsburgh tied for third worst in 2020.
To be fair, PFF did highlight wide receiver Diontae Johnson who had three catches for 41 yards.
PFF has also given the Steelers the worst odds to win the AFC North with only a 9.6 percent chance of taking back-to-back division titles.
