Pittsburgh took another step toward hosting an upcoming NFL draft.
The Stadium Authority is backing the Steelers attempt to host the draft in either 2026 or 2027.
At a meeting Tuesday, they gave permission for the necessary agreements needed to bring the draft tot Pittsburgh, essentially approving the Steelers intention to bid.
Leaders said it would strengthen their application to show the support of numerous organizations.
In a meeting with beat writers last week, including 93.7 The Fan's Jeff Hathhorn, Steelers owner and team president Art Rooney the II said he's optimistic about getting the opportunity to host a draft.
