Just a day after playing the Steelers, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey revealed he has tested positive for coronavirus.
Humphrey missed practice last Wednesday because he was dealing with cold-like symptoms. He practiced on Thursday and Friday and played Sunday.
He played all 53 snaps and had a total of four tackles.
In a tweet, Humphrey said, “I got the Rona hopefully I’ll be back healthy soon.”
The Ravens organization says they are following COVID-19 protocols.
The Steelers Director of Communication Burt Lauten released the following statement after the positive case was made public.
“This morning, the NFL informed us that a Baltimore Ravens player tested positive for COVID-19. Our results from Sunday’s testing have all come back negative.
We will follow the NFL’s Intensive Protocols and take precautionary measures at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to ensure the safety of our players, coaches and staff remain our highest priority.”
