According to a report, the Steelers have re-signed wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud to a one-year deal.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the deal will keep him in Pittsburgh.

McCloud played in every game for the Steelers last season, primarily as a punt returner. He started in two games.

Before signing on Tuesday, McCloud was a restricted free agent.

McCloud who was drafted by the Bills in the 6th round of the NFL Draft spent only one year in Buffalo and played for Carolina in 2019.

He has 298 punt return yards last season with Pittsburgh along with 646 kick return yards.

He also had 20 receptions for 77 yards in 2020.

With the likely departure of JuJu Smith-Schuster, McCloud could possibly get more time with the receiving core.
