PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – While Mike Tomlin's son is getting a tryout with the Tampa Bay Bucs, running backs coach Eddie Faulkner's son has been invited to Steelers Rookie minicamp next weekend.
Defensive back Eddie Faulkner IV was twice All-PSAC West in his career at The Rock. Last year, the 5'11" Faulkner was a captain finishing with 53 tackles, six tackles for loss, six pass break-ups, four forced fumbles and blocked a kick. As a junior, Faulkner was named All-American as a nickel back with 63 tackles, six tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, fourinterceptions and three forced fumbles.
A three-sport letter-winner at Shady Side Academy (football, basketball, track), Faulkner worked out in front of scouts at the Pitt Pro Day in March.
