Former Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is trending on “X” (formally Twitter) because of reports of infidelity.
His wife Michelle posted a since deleted Instagram post claiming Shazier is a cheater.
The full post read:
A person that loves his family … this is what they do to their family … the wife .. that has been there since day 1! Infidelity at its finest! I can’t sit here and keep hiding anymore. You can have it. I deserve better. This is Ryan.. he’s a liar and a cheater!
Ryan told his side of the story to TMZ saying, "Michelle and I have been living apart and are currently separated. As we work through what comes next for our family, I ask for privacy and prayers."
The deleted post alleged to show texts between Ryan and another woman. Some of the messages appeared to be sexually graphic in nature.
Shazier was forced to retire from the NFL in December 2017 after he suffered a serious spinal cord injury during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He was left paralyzed but slowly learned to walk again.
Shazier and Michelle Rodriguez married in 2019.
