Head Coach Mike Tomlin and other Steelers representatives began their visit to the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama mainly focusing on offensive linemen Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Nick Farabaugh with Pittsburgh Steelers Now showed videos of Tomlin meeting with Georgia safety Tykee Smith. Tomlin was also spending time watching defensive backs work during practice.

But it was one video that got people talking was Tomlin meeting with 23-year-old Oregon quarterback Bo Nix.

Nix had and impressive senior year at Oregon with over 4,500 throwing yards and 45 touchdowns.

He won the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year award this past season.

Even with that success, some are questioning if Nix will be the next Kenny Pickett.

Nix has started in 61 games in college over five seasons, three at Auburn and two with Oregon.

Nix could be a border-line first round pick and the Steelers will likely not take another first round quarterback this season.

The Steelers currently have the 20th pick.

Even with the unlikelihood of the Steelers taking Nix, some on X (formally Twitter) didn’t like even considering the possibility.
