A familiar face is returning to the Steelers
Linebacker Markus Golden has signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh.
Taken in the second-round of the 2015 NFL Draft by Arizona, Golden signed with the Steelers in 2023, appearing in 16 games.
He had 4 sacks and 20 total tackles last season with one fumble recovery and one pass defended, along with 10 quarterback hits.
Golden also started in the Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills last season after T.J.
Watt suffered an injury.
He had one sack and three tackles in that loss to the Bills.
The 33-year-old Golden is entering his 10th season in the NFL, with a career total of 51 sacks, 220 solo tackles and 11 forced fumbles.
To make room for Golden, the Steelers waived/injure linebacker David Perales.
Perales suffered a knee injured and LB Kyron Johnson injured his hamstring during Wednesday’s practice.
