Pittsburgh (93.7 The Fan) - One thing that's readily noticeable to Steelers players at their Heinz Field training camp is the quietness.

Cornerback Joe Haden, in his eleventh training camp, knows it's different, but you won't hear him complain.
"It's definitely different, but just being able to get into some normalcy has been a blessing, so I'm not taking that for granted," Haden said Tuesday.

Haden believes the Steelers defense is more than capable of bringing its own energy to the practices in the heat and humidity.

"I think we have the guys like (T.J.) Watt, who's a very energetic type, always screaming at each other out there. (Devin) Bush, Mike Hilton. He talks his trash. Minkah (Fitzpatrick) is just very, very passionate. We've got a lot of dudes that when they get out on the football field are very hyped and very excited and are just very energetic dudes. We've got a lot of passionate players, so they keep the energy up."

Haden also had strong praise for rookie receiver Chase Claypool, the Steelers second-round draft choice, who he's lined up against on some occasions in camp.

"He’s a big, fast receiver. He’s able to adjust to the ball in the air. He’s a big body, a big deep threat with soft hands who can go up and get it. As long as he can stay healthy, I think he’s going to be a problem.”
