Starting left tackle his last three seasons, named All-ACC First Team, an Outland Trophy Finalists along with Joe Moore Award Finalist. The Cleveland native was on everyone's All-America team his final season, most on the first team. Was the 7th ranked offensive tackle in the nation coming out of high school.
Pro Football Network Tony Pauline's take
"I think he's a second round pick. I think he's fundamentally sound. He's smart. He does the little things well. He's just not the greatest athlete. Doesn't show the flash footwork off the edge. Doesn't show great lateral range. Does a good job at pass protection using his body position and angles. Did a solid job blocking for what was a running QB at Notre dame. I like him better as a right tackle at the next level. He's got terrific blocking strength. I think he does a good enough job as a pass protector that he can line up on the right side. I'm just not sold on him as a left tackle or a first round pick."
