While some believe Steelers coach Mike Tomlin left players like Najee Harris and Chase Claypool on the field too long, Pittsburgh left the Hall of Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys, relatively unscathed.
The Steelers did suffer one injury during the game though.
Running back Kalen Ballage, who had five carries for 19 yards and one touchdown, suffered what Tomlin called a lower body injury.
It isn’t believed that his injury is too serious but will be looked at more thoroughly in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers did dodge a bullet after catching a 45-yard pass from Mason Rudolph bounced on the ground but popped right back up before being tackled in the 2nd quarter. After the catch, Claypool stayed on the ground for a bit but was able to walk off the field.
After the game Tomlin says “yes” when asked if Claypool was okay.
The Steelers have Friday off and will continue Training Camp on Saturday at Heinz Field.
