It’s the G.O.A.T.’s birthday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady pretended to retire during the offseason, so he’s back for a 23rd season.

Brady turns 45 August 3 and as of now, Brady will be the oldest player in the NFL when the season begins. In fact, there are currently no players in the league on an active roster.

Brady is so old (NFL-wise) and has been in the league so long, Bookies.com says that when the Steelers play the Bucs in Week 6, there could be up to three players on Pittsburgh’s roster that were born AFTER Brady was drafted.

He was taken with the 199th pick (sixth round) in the 2000 draft by the New England Patriots.

Steelers rookie wide receiver George Pickens, taken in the second-round by Pittsburgh was born March 4, 2001.

2022 third-round pick defensive tackle DeMarvin Leal is 22. He was born July 1, 2000.

The third player is undrafted free agent cornerback Chris Steele.

The 21-year-old was born on September 27, 2000.

In total, nearly 50 players who were not yet born when Brady was drafted could be facing the Tampa QB at some point this season.
