PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Beyond the major new reported injury to veteran guard Isaac Seumalo on Wednesday, there seemed to be brighter injury news for three who have been out.

Tailback Jaylen Warren said a few days ago he heels quickly and was optimistic about playing in the season opener. He told 93.7 The Fan after the final preseason practice he plans to practice full on Monday when the team returns after a four-day mandated break by the league.

Rookie receiver Roman Wilson said he's been focused on 'what he has to do tomorrow'. It was the similar answer to every question about when he might return. The receiver has been out since a few days into training camp with an ankle injury. He said he's taken a lot from mental reps from not just the receivers here, but studying receivers around the league.

Tackle Troy Fautanu said he plans on being able to practice on Monday and the hope is to be able to play in Atlanta. He's been on the field running and doing some cutting for the first time on Wednesday. He said he feels good, but doesn't like to have to wear a knee brace. It's not that he doesn't understand why, just doesn't like it.

"I can sit there and wish and hope my life away about wanting to play these last couple of preseason games," Fautanu said. "It's just not how the cards unfolded. Just making sure that I'm prepared, mentally prepared for anything that comes."
