Injuries to the Steelers may not be as serious as feared.

During his weekly press conference Tuesday, Tomlin said that player’s ability to participate in practice will determine if they play of Sunday against Cleveland.

Center Maurkice Pouncey, who is dealing with a foot injury will be limited at the beginning of the week, but Tomlin says he believes he could be able to go on Sunday.

The same goes for receiver Diontae Johnson who has a back injury

Guard David DeCastro, who is dealing with an Abdominal Strain, was also not ruled out but Tomlin didn’t mention that he expects him to be ready.

Tomlin added that tight end Derek Watt (hamstring) and linebacker Marcus Allen (foot) should be able to return to practice this week after being out for the Eagles game.
