PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – In the Steelers last win, he played over 50% of the snaps and caught three passes. He's played in 13 games this year. After going through the final practice before the Wild Card game, the Steelers released receiver Scotty Miller.
The 27-year-old had a career-low five receptions this year for 69 yards. He played 210 offensive snaps this season with only 10 on special teams.
He was signed on May 8th and joined the team for Organized Team Activities through his release on Thursday. His best season was with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay in 2020, finishing with 33 catches for 501 yards and three touchdowns. Miller caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from Brady with one second to go in the first half in the NFC Championship game at Green Bay to give the Bucs a two-score lead at the half.
There was no corresponding move yet announced, receiver Roman Wilson was already ruled out.
