According to a report, the Steelers are looking to add a veteran wide receiver to their roster.

KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reports the Steelers want to sign Marquez Valdes-Scantling after he was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

Valdes-Scantling playing in 14 games last season for the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.

The 30-year-old had 19 catches in 2024 for 411 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 5th round of the 2018 draft, Valdes-Scantling played four seasons with Aaron Rodgers.

He had 123 catches for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdowns.

But, the San Francisco 49ers are also reportedly interested in Valdes-Scantling.
