Everyone knows the Steelers have been pretty super since the 1970s, now they have a shirt to prove it.
Steelers defensive tackle and noted Marvel Comics fan Cam Heyward showed off the Avengers-inspired t-shirt on social media Tuesday.
The shirt is gold with “The Pittsburgh Steelers” written in a comic font with Avengers, Iron man, Captain America, Thor and The Incredible Hulk in action. It also features a Steelers logo in black on one of the sleeves.
In the video, Heyward says he will be sending one of those shirts to Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.
Last season, Downey Jr. posted a video of him wearing a game-worn Heyward jersey that had been sent to him by the Pro Bowler. Downey returned the favor by sending him a signed Infinity Gauntlet (featured in the last two Avengers movies).
No word on if and when Heyward will use the gauntlet to snap the Cleveland Browns out of existence…again.
