
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Steelers added a safety to the practice squad as it resumed practices following the open week. Rookie Jack Henderson signs after he was an undrafted free agent with Carolina to being the season.
Henderson also spent time on the Tampa Bay practice squad this summer, which would have allowed the Steelers to see him in the joint practice and also in a preseason game against them.
He is 6’2”, 215 pounds and played two seasons at Minnesota with 103 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three interceptions and a forced fumble. Before that, three seasons with Southeastern Louisiana making 163 tackles with 13 pass breakups and six interceptions.
