The Steelers made a couple of roster moves Monday.
Linebacker Tuzar Skipper has been waived/injured and have signed linebacker James Vaughters.
Vaughters spent two years in Chicago with the Bears and last year in Atlanta. He has played in 27 games with zero starts.
He has 29 career tackles, six quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
Vaughters was signed as an undrafted free agents in 2015 out of Stanford.
He's also been in the Green Bay, New England and Los Angeles Chargers organizations.
Skipper has been with the Steelers on three separate occasions. He was first signed as an undrafted free agent in 2019 before being waived before Week One.
He re-signed with the Steelers off the Giants practice squad in November 2019. He was waived a second time in September 2020.
Skipper then signed again with the Steelers on June 1 this year after he was waived by the Tennessee Titans in May.
Skipper has appeared in 10 NFL Games with the Giants and Titans with eight total tackles.
He has never played in a regular season game for Pittsburgh.
