Steelers fans are a rare breed.
New Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson was told by his cousin, former Steeler Bryant McFadden how crazy Training Camp in Latrobe is when Steeler Nation shows up.
“He told me there is going to be around 20,000 every single day,” Peterson said. “He’s kinda wondered how the Pittsburgh fans have been able to get up here every single day to support the Steelers. It goes to show the fan base is very strong.”
On Thursday, Peterson saw how passionate Steeler fans are when T.J. Watt signed a baby…yes, a baby.
A video, taken by the Steelers media team, shows a person handing over their young child.
Watt takes the child, holding the little girl with a smile on his face and signs her #90 Watt jersey for her.
He makes a face before signing the girl’s jersey as almost to say “how do I do this?”
Just another example of why the Steelers are the kings of Pittsburgh.
