The Steelers are losing a key play on both of their lines for this Sunday’s game against Buffalo at Acrisure Stadium.
Speaking to reporters during his weekly news conference, Head Coach Mike Tomlin says that both left tackle Broderick Jones and defensive tackle Derrick Harmon are out for this Sunday.
Jones is dealing with a neck injury, Harmon has a knee injury.
Tomlin says he is optimistic that quarterback Aaron Rodgers can return with the left wrist break he suffered during the Bengals game. He added that they should know more about Rodgers this week, compared to the work he was able to put in during practice last week.
After missing the past two games, linebacker Alex Highsmith could be limited with his pectoral injury at the beginning of the week but, Tomlin is hopeful he can return against the Bills.
Other injuries that will likely keep players limited at the beginning of the week include, cornerback Joey Porter Jr with a hip injury, wide receiver DK Metcalf with an ankle issue and receiver Ben Skowronek with a shoulder injury.
