Tomlin with no update on Watt, Harmon expected back against Lions

There’s no new news about T.J. Watt’s lung injury a day after the Steelers posted a big win without him against Miami.

Head Coach Mike Tomlin said he didn’t have anything to add after Watt was ruled out late last week with a punctured lung that was suffered during a dry needling procedure at the Steelers South Side facility last week.

Tomlin did shed some more light on other injuries though.

After expecting to play against the Dolphins, Derrick Harmon was inactive on Monday night. On Tuesday Tomlin said they expect Harmon to be back on Sunday in Detroit for an important game against the Lions.

Tomlin added that Harmon was probably healthy enough to play last night but they were cautious with his knee injury. He’s missed the last three weeks due to injury.

Tomlin didn’t have any news on guard Isaac Seumalo’s triceps injury or linebacker Nick Herbig’s hamstring issue. Both were injured in the second half. Tomlin did say they will be limited to start the week of practice.

Offensive tackle Andrus Peat is still in the concussion protocol after an injury during the Ravens game.

Cornerback James Pierre, who missed Monday’s game with a calf injury, could return to practice latter in the week.
