Mike Tomlin's son gets invite to Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie camp

Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin’s son Dino wasn’t drafted, but he will get a chance to prove himself to an NFL team.

KDKA Radio’s WPIAL Insider Karlo says the wide receiver out of Boston College will participate in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ rookie camp.

The 6-foot, 188-pound WR had a career high 24 catches in 2023 for 312 yards, averaging 13 yards.

This past season, Tomlin played in 10 games. He had three catches for 40 yards.

Prior to transferring to BC in 2022, Dino played three seasons at Maryland.

Andrew Fillipponi on The PM Team pointed out that former Steelers Offensive Coordinator Matt Canada was the interim head coach at Maryland in 2018 and his first recruit was Dino Tomlin out of Shady Side Academy.

Mike Tomlin was the Bucs defensive backs coach from 2001 – 2005 and won a ring while with the Bucs during Super Bowl XXXVII.
