Running back Trey Edmunds has rejoined the Steelers 53-man roster after several players were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list after close contact with tight end Vance McDonald, who tested positive on Monday.
Edmunds takes McDonald’s spot on the roster while he recovers.
Edmunds cleared waivers after being released on November 7.
He was called up from the practice squad during Week 5 and 7.
In 33 games, Edmunds as rushed for 140 yards on 31 carries.
He has also has contributed to special teams with 13 tackles and an interception over four seasons.
