PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Asked if his hamstring injury, which caused him to miss the game Saturday, bothers him, Steelers tailback Jaylen Warren said 'not at all'. He talked to reporters after practice with the first game coming up on September 8. Will he be ready for that game?

"Yeah, yeah," Warren said.

The injury happened on a reception on a check down in game two of the preseason against the Bills. He said he felt the injury as he went to the ground.

Warren said he's always been a quick healer. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said last week that Warren would miss the preseason game, but made no designation for the opener in Atlanta.

The third-year Steelers tailback said he has faith in the offense and got a little spurt in the finale over Detroit.

"Those are my guys, they definitely improved," Warren said. "We are improving as we are together every day. I'm excited to take that to Week One."
