FanDuel proposed a “Who says no?” trade on Thursday that had most people reacting with “no”, “no way” or “hell no.”
FanDuel proposed on X (formally Twitter) a trade that would send All-Pro wide receiver DeeDee Lamb to the Steelers.
What would it cost?
FanDuel proposes the Steelers 1st round pick in 2025 and 2026 AND quarterback Justin Fields.
Would it help the Steelers offense to have someone that played in 17 games last season with a league-leading 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns? Uh, yeah.
But, losing your 1st round pick for two years and getting rid of your possible future starting quarterback doesn’t sound like good planning for the future.
Lamb is also reportedly holding out of Cowboys camp, looking for a contract extension.
He is seeking a big-money extension that could see him making a figure well north of $100 million.
Lamb was taken 17th overall in the 2020 draft and has 395 career catches for 5,145 yards and 32 touchdowns.
That’s A LOT to give up and then A LOT to pay to get Lamb.
This proposed trade makes any involving Brandon Aiyuk look like a deal for Pittsburgh.
