The move comes after Keith Butler announced his retirement over the weekend.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Steelers put in the request for the interview.

Graham will also reportedly interview for the Giants vacant head coaching position this week, after the organization fired Joe Judge.

Graham has drawn head coaching interest in the past but last year decided to stay with Judge in New York.

While the Steelers defense was ranked 23rd by ESPN in the regular season, Graham’s Giants were ranked second-to-last only behind the Houston Texans.

While the Steelers may interview Graham, many suspect that Steelers senior defensive assistant and secondary coach Teryl Austin will be the next defensive coordinator.
