Two more WPIAL football games are being postponed due to COVID-19.

Peters Township will move to all remote learning the rest of the week due to three possible cases of coronavirus in the school.

One is confirmed and the others presumed positive.

The move also shuts down Peters athletics until September 8.
That doesn’t give the football team enough time to get the required number of practices in before the season starts so the season opener against South Fayette will be postponed for now.

Kiski Area football has announced their football program is shut down until September 10 “due to an identified COVID exposure.”

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Mike White reports that Kiski’s first two games against Penn Hills and Connellsville will be postponed, but they hope to make up the Penn Hills game.
