Watch: John Harbaugh appears to refuse to shake Mike Vrabel's hand

Tennessee Titans' head coach Mike Vrabel says that you shouldn't read too far into his post-game interaction with Baltimore Ravens' head coach John Harbaugh, but we're not sure that we agree.

Following an overtime victory by the Titans, Harbaugh appeared uninterested in shaking hands with Vrabel:

NFL Media's Mike Girardi says that Vrabel told the media after the game that Harbaugh did not decline his attempt to shake hands after the game. Still, the video above suggests otherwise.

Meanwhile, Harbaugh told the collective media, including 105.7 The Fan's Jerry Coleman, that he made an attempt to shake Vrabel's hand, but the former star linebacker was busy celebrating the game-winning touchdown. You can decide for yourself whether Harbaugh's explanation checks out.

Before the game started, the Titans met at midfield on the Ravens' logo at M&T Bank Stadium. Harbaugh appeared to take exception to that meeting, especially once Titans' cornerback Malcolm Butler seemed to be barking at the Ravens' sideline:

Though it wasn't shown in the video, Mike Garafolo of NFL Media says that Vrabel and Harbaugh had "a spirited chat before the game eventually started. There apparently wasn't a ton of spirit left by the time the game finished.

The reality facing Harbaugh is that the Titans appear to be another AFC contender that has the number of the Ravens. In addition to winning in Baltimore today, the Titans went on the road and upset the Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round this past January. The Ravens are 6-4, which puts them in third place in the AFC North, behind the 10-0 Pittsburgh Steelers and 7-3 Cleveland Browns. If the Ravens lose to the undefeated Steelers on Thursday, it will become a very real possibility that they altogether miss the playoffs in 2020.
