PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - Expectations are obviously high for the Steelers in Pittsburgh, but what are they like outside of Steelers Nation?
Former Bengals quarterback and current WFAN in New York morning show host Boomer Esiason joined The PM Team and said he too has high expectations for this team.
"I got to see them against the great one, and that's Patrick Mahomes...but they're a top four team. There's no question about that if they stay healthy. They added Avery Williamson, which I think is a smart deal. They should definitely make it to the AFC Championship game."
And the idea of the Steelers being in that game against the aforementioned Chiefs excites Boomer.
"I'm hoping for a Steelers-Chiefs AFC Championship game. That would be awesome because you'd have Ben, you'd have Pat, you'd have Andy Reid, you'd have Mike Tomlin, you'd have all these great storylines going into it."
Boomer also talked about the Steelers chances of going 16-0, the impact Avery Williamson will have on this team after coming over from the New York Jets and much more.
