Luke Combs helped a group of FFA students from Willow, CA experience the magic of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry with a night they'll never forget.
While in Nashville for a school trip, the students found out Combs would be playing the Opry, but were unable to attend due to the price of tickets. That’s when their teacher took matters into her own hands and sent Luke a direct message on Twitter.
“I have my Willows CA FFA Chapter here in Nashville tonight, and they are DYING to see you at the Grand Ole Opry!” the note read, according to Sounds Like Nashville. “We tried to get tickets, but our kids can’t afford it. I so wish I could give them this gift because they idolize you.”
Leave it to Luke, a soon-to-be first time Dad to create some magic for these students by responding with, “Tickets are on me! Y’all have fun tonight. Someone from my team will reach out and get y’all set up!”
Luke didn’t stop there. He also met up with the students backstage before his performance, posed for a group photo and gave them a tour of the historical Opry.
