In an interview with XXL, 50 Cent said, "I got a joint with him called 'Office Hours' we did together. We ain't worked together since 'Power of a Dollar.' It was cool to get in with him and do something like that. It's interesting that the relationship is different because we in two different places now."
It's been over 20 years since the two New York natives collaborated on a project together. Back in 2002, they worked together on "Too Hot” and “Who U Rep With" from 50's Guess Who’s Back? mixtape.
Magic 2 is the sequel to Nas' 2021 project, Magic. 50's contribution to this project is significant as it symbolizes his return to music, writing on Instagram, "Yal' ain't herd me in a minute, @nas felt like it was time so it's done."
In another interview with Billboard, 50 revealed he has a project coming out soon too, with the assistance of Dr. Dre and Eminem. "He is now working on a studio album with Dr. Dre, Eminem has sent him new songs to collaborate on," the media company wrote.
"Office Hours" is set to release this Friday, July 21.
