Over the weekend a 2018 feud between Cardi B and Cuban Doll was kinda reignited on Twitter as the female rappers once again found themselves arguing about a would-be affair Cardi’s husband Offset was allegedly pursuing with CB — here’s the tea.

It all went down after Cuban Doll shared a few leopard-print looks from an upcoming music video. Which she later compared to a throwback of Nicki Minaj’s leopard-print hair on her Instagram story.

Which then led a Cardi Fan account to respond with an old video of Cardi displaying support for Cuban. Because umm, well unless you’ve been living under a rock then you know Cardi and Nicki don’t really get along.
In response Cardi tweeted, but has since-deleted — “Ask me why they hate me … THEY DON’T HAVE A REASON, JUST BANDWAGONING. It’s Cool tho, everyone that ever hated never succeeded.”
Before Cardi’s tweet went MIA, Cuban responded with a quickness, escalating things by saying, “me & you ain’t been cool Offset was tryna f*** me.” And quickly correcting her grammatical error by tweeting “*since” shortly after. Adding on with one more tweet that read, “don’t play victim… THATS WHAT WE NOT FINNA DO.”
Cardi wasn’t having any of that, and dismissed the “victim” claims by pointing out that Cuban was the one who reignited the feud, referencing two now-deleted Cuban Doll tweets in which she seemingly calls out Cardi’s former marital problems with Offset.
“You started this whole s*** wit those two NOW DELETED tweets being shady about the inspiration and then my husband. Now that I respond I’m wrong?,” Cardi tweeted.
Those tweets in question btw — The first one said, “I pray a man don’t marry me just to cheat on me. That’s next level OD DISRESPECT,” Cuban wrote. Which followed up with, “I could never be inspired by someone I don’t listen to. Simple stop trying to force that on me.” BIG YIKES!
Cuban insisted the original “husband tweet” was not about Cardi and Offset. Which you think would have put an end to it, but nah things got even messier. Because Cardi came through with receipts of when Cuban denied being involved in the 2018 scandal when a woman named Summer Bunni claimed the Migos rapper requested a threesome with her and Cuban. Cardi shared screenshots of 2018 DMs with Cuban, who denied knowing about the situation until it was posted by the media.
“You say all this now, but you said something different when I asked you about it directly,” Cardi tweeted. “Where was this energy then? Don’t play tough now. I see we didn’t leave looking for clout in 2021.”
Cardi also shared a clip of Cuban’s brief TMZ interview, in which she called Summer Bunni a “clout-chaser” and denied having any communication with Offset. Writing alongside it, “This is you as well LIKE I SAID …Don’t try to act victim cause I reply to those deleted tweets you was directing at me. Just tell your label to pay me for the promo.”
As her closing statement to Cardi, in another now-deleted tweet, Cuban wrote, “What is this proving? Who are you trying to convince? Your husband tried to f*** me And IM STILL NOT INSPIRED THE END!”
In response, Cardi deleted all of her tweets, citing the exchange as “bad for business.”
