"It's gonna happen. We finally worked out everything with Warner Brothers and New Line. I can't wait to get started, man," Cube says of the latest installment in the adventures of Craig and Smokey, during an interview with The Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 in Atlanta. "We all anxious, ready to get to work."

"I want as many back as wanna come back," he shares about the possibility of returning cast members. "I'm gonna, in the next few weeks, meeting with different characters that played in the movies before and see if they down to jump in this one."

The time is right for Ice Cube to look back, as last week he announced the Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude tour, kicking off on September 4, and celebrating the Hip-Hop icon's 40 year career. For Cube it has been all about "the ride."

"The journey," he shares, "from where we started to where we are now, it's just been an amazing ride. I feel extremely blessed to be in this position to be able to do music, movies, and now sports, and it's time to celebrate it. You know what I mean? It's like, when you got 40 years of music, it's time to celebrate it with a big, huge production. I can't wait to come to town."
