Punky Brewster fans can get ready for some more "Punky Power."
NBCUniversal announced that it will be rebooting the 80s favorite on its new streaming service Peacock.
This time, Punky, who will still be played by Soleil Moon Frye, is a single mother who takes in a young girl in the Foster system who happens to remind her a lot of her younger self, according to TODAY.
Frye had been alluding to the reprisal role for a while, posting several photos to Instagram of her with co-stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Cherie Johnson.
Johnson will return as Punky's best friend and Prinze Jr. will play Punky's ex-husband.
Peacock streaming service will offer a free subscription with ads as well as a premium option at $4.99 a month to access additional content if you are not a Comcast or Cox subscriber.
Peacock premium with an ad free experience will be $9.99 monthly, according to the press release.
