Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s family just got that much cuter. The couple took to Instagram to share their new, 4-legged baby — a Basset Hound named Pearl.

“Meet our newest family member Pearl,” John wrote with a photo of the wrinkly pup sitting in the sunshine.
“Pearl has touched down into the Legend/Teigen/Stephens household,” Chrissy wrote with a series of photos and heart-melting video of Pearl running through the kitchen, almost tripping on her over-sized ears. “We love this little girl so much already!”
Pearl joins new puppy sister, Penny, and according to Teigen, who grew up with Basset Hounds, the two make quite the doggie-duo.
“Penny is obsessed with her so it’s been fun watching the adventures of Penny and Pearl unfold,” Teigen shared. "I grew up with Basset Hounds so I can’t wait for John to see this bouncy, no-bones, jello mold of skin grow into the stubborn logs of love I love so much.”
Doesn't seem John is having any issues lovin' on the new family member as Chrissy shared, "I will admit, she has definitely taken to John first!!"
Pearl is adding some much-needed canine love and laughs to the family, who said goodbye to their beloved 10-year-old, French Bulldog, Pippa, just a couple of weeks ago.
“Excited for this new little heart to add love to our home,” Tiegen wrote before sharing the name "Pearl" is a tribute to Pippa.
“Pippa - we hope you love her name. A tribute to you! You were always an iconic, different lady when your pearls were on. I’ll never forget when they shattered in front of you and you sunk into a funk for weeks until we got you a new one lol.”
