Two people are dead after the car they were in was struck during a police chase in Pomona on Wednesday night.

The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Gary Ave. Before the chase, police were in the 400 block of East 10 St. talking to a domestic violence victim when the suspect pulled up to the area, according to multiple outlets.
The driver took off, and a chase ensued. The truck then slammed into the car at high speeds, killing both people inside.
The driver, identified as Marshall Judson, was taken into custody. NBC4 reported that Judson was arrested on “ booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, felony evasion, and firearm-related charges.”
Part of Gary Ave. remained closed Thursday morning as the investigation continued.
