The cow was wrangled by animal control officers in a parking lot sometime around noon. It had been roaming the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway when several various public agencies responded, attempting to guide it off the highway.

Prior to his capture, the cow was briefly "spooked." Traffic was stopped on the freeway.

The black-and-white cows dodged LAPD black-and-whites (a nickname for patrol cars) in a strip mall parking lot.

The cow climbed stairs and darted off before being wrangled by a lasso on a dusty field.
