A federal search warrant was served on Wednesday morning at the plant in Garden Grove after that massive chemical tank emergency.

It's part of an ongoing investigation looking into possible violations that could have played a part in the crisis.

50,000 people were evacuated over Memorial Day Weekend due to fears it would explode or leak. Eventually, the tank cracked, releasing pressure inside, and everyone was able to go home.

The investigation into what caused it to overheat is ongoing.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against GKN Aerospace.
