A fire at a legal cannabis dispensary near downtown Los Angeles was quickly extinguished Thursday.
Fire crews responded at 1:38 a.m. to 645 S. Imperial St. between Mateo Street and Santa Fe Avenue where they found the fire deep inside the 100-by- 100-foot dispensary, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

It took 40 firefighters 31 minutes to knock down the flames.
No injuries were reported.
