A fire damaged a house in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles Monday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 2200 block of South Orange Drive at 7:24 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 27 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
