Funeral services will be held for Los Angeles County deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer Thursday in downtown Los Angeles.
The funeral will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. Archbishop José Gomez is expected to lead the mass.
Speakers will include Sheriff Robert, sheriff’s Captain Josh Bardon of the Palmdale station, Brittany Lindsey, Clinkunbroomer's fiancée, and his father, Michael Clinkunbroomer.
Clinkunbroomer was shot and killed on Sept. 16 while sitting in his patrol car in Palmdale. On Sept. 18, deputies arrested 29-year-old Kevin Salazar in connection to the deadly shooting. He was charged with murder and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
