
Authorities Monday identified a man and a woman who were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in the Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at about 3 p.m. Saturday at La Brea Avenue and Coliseum Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The two fatally injured people were trapped in the wreckage of a vehicle before being freed by firefighters, but they died at the scene, the LAFD said. No other injuries were reported.

On Monday, the pair were identified by the Los Angeles County Department of medical examiner as David Coleman II, 52, whose city of residence was not known; and Karrington Coleman, 23, of Norwalk. Their relationship to one another was not immediately known.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Clarence Perkins told Fox 11 that the pair were in a Mercedes-Benz that was northbound on La Brea Avenue when it hit a car that was waiting in the left turn lane, flipped, and then hit at least two other cars.
