Series of North Hills robberies under investigation, 2 suspects arrested

NORTH HILLS (CNS) - A series of armed robberies were carried out in the North Hills area early Monday, and two suspects were in custody.

It was unclear if the robberies were related, but they occurred in the same general area shortly before 6 a.m.

A Los Angeles Police Department desk officer confirmed that two suspects had been taken into custody.

KTLA5 reported that one of the robberies happened at 5:40 a.m. near Noble Avenue and Chase Street, where a wallet and cash were stolen by three male suspects who fled on motorized bikes. Three male suspects carried out additional robberies within the next 20 minutes on Moonbeam Avenue and near Burnet Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard, the station reported, adding that the two suspects taken into custody were juveniles.
