
A pedestrian was fatally injured in a hit-and-run in the Mid-City area, and authorities Monday sought the public's help to find the motorist.

The pedestrian, described only as female, was injured about 11:50 p.m. Sunday at Washington and Crenshaw boulevards, and she died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Information on her identity was not immediately available.
The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a silver Subaru Impreza, police said.
Anyone with information on the crash was urged to call detectives at 213-473-0234, or 877-LAPD-247. Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS.
