It was inevitable this day would come, but BTS fans are devastated that two of the guys from the group have to join the military. All South Korean males between 18 and 28 are required to spend a year and a half serving their country, with BTS no exception. South Korea's Ambassador to Great Britain recently said, "It is very much expected that young Korean men serve the country, and those BTS members are role models for many young-generation Koreans." They did get an extension initially – back in December, 2020, the South Korean National Assembly changed their Military Service Act to allow K-Pop artists to postpone their time in the military. The new rules now say that any K-Pop artist who receives government medals will be able to put their service off for two years. Unfortunately, some BTS members are coming close to that deadline. Kim Seok-jin turns 30 in December and Suga, a.k.a. Min Yoon-gi, is also set to turn 30 next March, according to TMZ.
There's been all this talk about Will Smith and Chris Rock, but has anyone bothered to check in with Questlove about the infamous slap? Questlove made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show and said he is ready to put the whole Oscars drama behind him after it ruined his moment of winning. As a matter of fact, he didn't even know what had happened until later on. He explained, "They tell you ahead of time, 'This is your category,' so in that moment, you're either going to be full of anxiety or, for me, I've been meditating for the last two years. So, when I opened my eyes, I was like, 'Why is everyone so quiet?' I literally was not present for that whole entire moment." He added, "As I'm walking to the stage, I'm kind of putting two and two together, and I realize that that was a real moment maybe three seconds before I spoke words, but in my mind, they were just doing a sketch or whatever, and I'm just like, 'OK Ahmir, remember to thank your mom, your dad.' So I was not present at all. I was just in a blank space." Read more with Radar.

Halsey attended last night's GRAMMYs, and it was similar to the last time she went. Halsey explained, "The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was 3 days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery. I walked the carpet with my stitches still in 😅. As luck would have it, I'm attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again (you guessed it) 3 days ago. Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I'm fragile. Fragile but excited."

Doja Cat nearly missed accepting her award at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards last night. As it was announced that she won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with SZA for their collaboration on "Kiss Me More," Doja Cat was on her way back from the restroom. Luckily, SZA took a while to get on stage because she was using crutches, but she called out Doja who ran to get up on stage. Doja said she never went so fast before as she adjusted her dress on stage. It was nice to see her so happy after just weeks ago, she threatened to quit music altogether, according to OK. Good thing the win was for a duo/group or it would have been a quiet, awkward time on stage 'til she got there.
