Erykah Badu took to Twitter on Thursday to apologize for releasing pictures and videos from Barack Obama's 60th birthday party on August 7th. She tweeted, "Mr. and Mrs. Obama, Please forgive me 4 being the 'terrible guest' at such a sacred event for your family. I was so inconsiderate, Thank you for all your love. What an example of 'how NOT to be' ......erica." Though the pictures and videos have since been deleted from Erykah's social media pages, they live on in the Internet. The pictures and videos she shared showed Barack Obama partying without a mask and other guests at the party not social distancing. She wasn't the only one guilty of posting from the event - Trap Beckham and his manager TJ Chapman also did the same, according to radaronline.com.


Britney Spears' father is attacking his ex-wife, Lynne. In new court papers, Jamie claims Lynne Spears has used $2 million dollars of Britney's money to pay for her own high-end lifestyle, which allegedly includes a mansion in Louisiana with a full staff, according to radaronline.com.  Jamie claims he has paid and still pays for everything involving Lynne's home, "including all of her utility bills, weekly maid service, and all maintenance (totaling upwards of $150,000 per year and to date, nearly $2,000,000 in total)." Jayne claims he has "saved Ms. Spears from disaster" and that Lynne isn't even really a part of Britney's Life.  The papers he filed claim, "Lynne has had only limited involvement in Ms. Spears' life these last thirteen years. She has not had a parental role in her life for decades."

People weren't very happy when they heard that producer Mike Richards got the hosting job for "Jeopardy!" over anyone else, especially over LeVar Burton, who is a fan-favorite.  And then there was the news that "The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik is going to host to some specialty shows.  But apparently, the executives wanted her as the only host for all the shows.  The problem is, she has too many other commitments – she stars and executive produces "Call Me Kat" on FOX and hosts a podcast but because they really love her, "Jeopardy!" execs came up with the idea for Mayim to host the show's primetime and spin-off specials.

It's not the first time, and it certainly won't be the last time.  A 28-year-old man from Nebraska was caught trying to sneak into Taylor Swift's Tribeca New York apartment building. Taylor was not home at the time.  He actually didn't even make it to her apartment because a security officer in the building spotted him first and called 911.

One day after a judge upheld Kelly Clarkson's prenup with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock, the singer headed to Las Vegas. Off she went to Sin City Friday with two girlfriends to see George Strait in concert. Kelly shared two photos from the trip on Instagram and challenged her followers to try to have as good a time as she was.

Jennifer who?  Alex Rodriguez was spotted partying with a few women Friday night at Omnia nightclub in Vegas.  Even though he was seen hanging out with three women in particular for most of the night, he seemed to be very fond of a blonde woman.  See the video at TMZ.com. In the meantime, Jennifer has finally made her breakup with Alex complete. She unfollowed him and scrubbed him from her Instagram account. She wasn't able to get rid of all traces of A-Rod in her Instagram videos though. Alex still follows her and has her pictures on his Insta, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Legendary singer Tony Bennett is retiring from performing live and cancelling the rest of his 2021 tour dates. Tony is pulling out of concerts in New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Arizona, Oklahoma and Canada. Tony is 95 years old and has been battling Alzheimer's since 2016. His son, Danny Bennett, told Variety he can still sing, but doctors are advising against the touring because of the physical toll of performing and traveling and the chance that he could hurt himself.

FX has ordered two more series spin-offs from the "American Story" franchise, according to Deadline. So far, Ryan Murphy's American Story franchise includes s ten seasons of "American Horror Story," the "American Horror Stories" spin-off, and three seasons of "American Crime Story," according to dlisted.com.  It sure is good to be Ryan Murphy.

Syesha Mercado, third-place finalist on the seventh season of "American Idol," is battling with authorities in Manatee County, Florida to get her children back. Her toddler son, Amen-Ra, was placed in foster care earlier this year. Now they've taken her newborn daughter, too. Her son was taken away because he was allegedly malnourished. The newborn was taken because Syesha and her partner didn't inform authorities that she'd had another baby while having an open case. A GoFundMe has been started to cover the legal fees. So far, they've raised over $382,000 of a $200,000 goal.

Jason Momoa does NOT want to see his kids get into acting. Jason and Lisa Bonet share 14-year-old Lola and 12-year-old Nakfa-Wolf, and one of them (he didn't say which one) wants to get into acting. He said the only way he would change his mind is if the kids were passionate about acting. Otherwise, he would rather not see them go through the pain of it all, according to Entertainment Tonight.  I guess we should appreciate that he suffers through all these roles for our enjoyment.

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker flew on Saturday, the first time since the deadly plane crash 13 years ago that killed four people and left him with third-degree burns on 65 percent of his body and in the ICU for months, according to TMZ. Travis and his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, boarded her sister Kylie Jenner's private jet in L.A. Saturday to head to Cabo. Travis had vowed never to fly again after the crash that took the life of two of his close friends, Charles "Che" Still and Chris Baker, along with the two pilots. DJ AM survived the crash but died a year later of an overdose. In more Kourt and Travis news, Kourtney blasted a fan that commented on selfies she posted to Instagram Thursday saying she looks pregnant. It started a slew of other comments to start rolling in about Kourtney looking pregnant. In response to the "SHES PREGNANT" comment, Kourt responded, "I'm a woman with a BODY."

Emma Stone has officially signed on to star in the upcoming "Cruella" sequel, according to OK.  This is despite ongoing disputes surrounding certain films being released to Disney+ Premiere Access at the same time they're released in theaters. According to Endeavor executive chairman Patrick Whitesell, the agreement is meant to protect the interests of both Emma and the studios, amid the continuing pandemic, and the potential that Premiere Video On Demand releases will continue.

Real Housewives news…

Attorney Ronald Richards, the lawyer investigating "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Jayne and her estranged husband's Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, has sent a letter to Bravo instructing them not delete any unaired footage of Erika and her ex, Tom Girardi.  He believes the footage could be useful to him in court, according to OK.

Former Real Housewives stars Dorinda Medley from "Real Housewives of New York" and Vicki Gunvalson from "Real Housewives of Orange County" will reportedly join the cast of the second season of "Real Housewives All-Stars." According to The Daily Mail, they will be joined by other past housewives including Jill Zarin, Phaedra Parks, Taylor Armstrong, Eva Marcille and Brandi Glanville.

Kaley Cuoco has made a serious offer on an Olympic horse.  You may have heard that on Friday, a German rider was struggling to get her horse to jump during an event.  Her coach was seen on video punching the horse, an act that angered everyone. People magazine reports that Kaley, who is an equestrian herself and who is married to horse trainer Karl Cook, wrote on Instagram Stories, "This is a disgusting, classless, abusive representation of our sport in so many ways. This team should be ashamed of themselves." She then went on to write, "I'll buy that horse outright and show it the life it should have. Name your price." Read more at extratv.com.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has ended up in the hospital for a quick little orthopedic procedure.  His wife, Kayla Rae Reid, wrote on Instagram, "A legend of lessons… don't race down an inflatable kids water slide folks! 👴🏼♥️." You might recall that just last year Ryan had an unexpected surgery after getting appendicitis on a family trip to California. It's one thing when your body fails you, but it's another to fail your body.
