California mayors and senators, among other elected officials, have signed an open letter to Taylor Swift asking her to postpone the six concerts scheduled to start tomorrow in Los Angeles to stand in solidarity with striking hotel workers. Taylor's representatives haven't commented on it yet.
Gwyneth Paltrow has partnered with AirBnB, putting her Montecito guest house up for rent. In an Instagram post, Paltrow says that Airbnb guests could join her and her husband, Brad Falchuk, for dinner as well as pick out any bottle of wine from her stash. She's also going to load them up with Goop goodies. The booking for the one-night stay for two guests opens on Tuesday, August 15. The stay will take place on Saturday, September 9.
Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello both reportedly want spousal support as laid out in their prenup. Sofia also apparently wants "miscellaneous jewelry, artwork, and other personal effects," as well as any earnings she made before, during, and after their date of separation.
Barstool founder Dave Portnoy is defending Irina Shayk over the rumors that she fawned all over Tom Brady at a wedding they were all at earlier this summer. Dave said, "He's a hot commodity. If you're interested in dating him you probably have to put in the effort." Dave also added that "Irina is more of a supermodel vibe," and she reminded him of Gisele Bündchen. He added, "[They] seem on par in terms of classiness."
The mic Cardi B hurled into the crowd at her recent concert is being auctioned on eBay by the person who owns it. He So far, it's up to $30k, and the money will go to the Wounded Warrior Project and a local Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. Bad news for Cardi B though – a woman hit by the mic filed a police report. Cardi threw the mic at the woman who threw water on her, but it bounced off her and hit another woman too.
Lizzo is being sued by three of her backup dancers who say her behavior "seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly." She and the dance captain are accused of weight-shaming, as well as other actions that are demeaning and demoralizing. There's even talk about 12-hour rehearsals and dancers having to re-audition midway through as well as being prevented from taking other jobs.
